Dream Racer Dakar competition banner

You can win a copy of the internationally acclaimed movie – Dream Racer – personally autographed by the 4 times Dakar entrant Christophe Barriere-Varju.

Go to the entry form at the bottom of this page, answer Christophe’s question and you’re in the running!

Dream Racer shows the legendary Dakar Rally in its purest form – no sponsors, no multi-million dollar team, not even a mechanic – just one rider, a motorbike, a film maker and the world’s most dangerous motor race.

It follows 4 times Dakar competitor Christophe Barriere-Varju – co-host of our podcasts – in the toughest event in the world.

The feature length film has won 7 international film awards and has been broadcast on Discovery World, FOX, Qantas, Emirates, Virgin Atlantic, and bought by customers from over 145 countries.

It’s at the edge of who you are, that you learn who you can be
Christophe Barriere-Varju

But Dream Racer is far more than just a motorbike movie, Dream Racer is a call to arms for anyone who has ever dreamt of doing anything – a spine tingling antidote to the fear of life passing you by unfulfilled.

It appeals to people who have nothing at all to do with motorbikes and is one of the most inspiring movies of all time!

We have an extra-special copy of Dream Racer, personally autographed by Christophe, to give away to the first 5 people who can correctly answer his question below.

Not sure what the answer is? Follow us on Facebook and join the conversation for updates – and maybe the occasional clue! You can enter as many times as you like.

Here’s the clues so far ..

  1. The first one was what I said to Christophe on Facebook – “I reckon it might be someone with a French sounding name.”
  2. It’s NOT the person who created the Dakar Rally.
  3. This person created a race that not one competitor finished because it was so difficult to complete.
  4. It was a Nice trip from Abidjan for Thierry Sabine, until he got lost!
  5. A rally is never supposed to be easy.
  6. TODAY’S CLUE – The rally that no one finished shares it’s name with a river in the Ivory Coast, and was run in the same year former US President Nixon also found himself in hot water.
