Ducati hints at 400cc Scrambler – could the Ducati Scramble range be about to welcome a 400cc variant?

Ducati announced some time ago there will be a world premiere at the EICMA show starting this week.

Now the company has released a teaser video that shows the tank and handlebar of a new bike in an orange colour.

Speculation is now mounting that we will see a 400cc version of the Scrambler, and that it will be orange of course. It’s rumoured that spy shots of the Ducati Scrambler 400cc were floating around the Internet recently.

Speculation is mounting that Ducati will reveal the 400cc Scrambler in Milan this week.

If true, the engine of the new Scrambler is expected to be a 400cc Testastreta – a downsized version of the 800cc Scrambler power plant.

Ducati will also showcase an array of new motorcycles at EICMA, including the recently-unveiled 160hp, Monster 1200 R — the most powerful Ducati naked motorcycle built so far.

We’ll bring you more details from Ducati as the show progresses.
